Applicants to the Master of Arts program in Counseling must have completed a Bachelor of Arts degree from an institution accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Official transcripts must be on file before the college will offer any credit for classes. Beyond this minimum requirement, acceptance to our program is competitive and based on the following: college grades (a minimum 2.75 GPA is required except by appeal); a letter stating reasons for the applicant's interest in Perelandra College; a biography of about 250 words; two letters of reference regarding the applicant's character; and a 200 word description of the applicant’s counseling or care-giving involvement.
